Marie also adds that giving the body a good dose of energy-sustaining protein in the morning helps stave off fatty cravings throughout the day. All in all, it adds up to an energized, leaner you.

It is important to set goals, before you start a weight loss plan. Those goals should be realistic and attainable. Starting with a goal of 10 to 20 pounds is a great place to begin, and is with in your reach.

If you do not think that 20 pounds is a big enough or high enough number, then think of this way. A bowling ball weighs approximately 10 pounds, now imagine carrying around two of them all day everyday. If you have 20 pounds to lose, then that is how much stress and strain that is putting on your body. Losing 20 pounds is a big deal!

WEIGHT LOSS TIPS FOR WOMEN WITH BOWLING BALLS

1. Skip lunch. Eating lunch is difficult with two fourteen pound bowling balls attached to your wrists. So why bother? Place your bowling balls in your lap and think about beets. You will consume zero calories, and the bowling balls will compress your thigh muscles into something resembling a chicken wing. MAXIMUM WEIGHT LOSS . MAXIMUM THIGH GAP.

2. Go for a run. Nothing helps you shed those last twenty eight pounds faster

You can lose 20 pounds and do it reasonably. For so many adopting an all or nothing attitude immediately sabotages their efforts because they are unable to achieve their new hardcore ways. Other studies cited by the Times suggests adding pureed vegetables to dishes in bulk or eat soup or salad before a meal to reduce the amount of calories you consume at each meal. Mix the pureed vegetables in your favorite foods may be the best option, shave 200-350 calories per meal.

Q I'm losing weight, then I take protein shakes for breakfast. Is this a good choice? I have         heard pros and cons. 

Protein (Meal replacement shakes) are perfectly fine, and for some people, the convenience
of  having the same shake for breakfast every day is a blind scheme and with fewer           complications. If you decide to go this route, it's pretty easy to make your own smoothie in a blender instead of buying a prefabricated version. You get to control what goes in (eg, the addition of fresh produce that provides fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals) and not (packed smoothies can contain preservatives, sugar or corn syrup and vitamins and minerals unnecessary ). Here is the recipe for my Protein Power Smoothie. It's perfect for breakfast or lunch: it has plenty of filling protein to decrease appetite, frozen berries most colorful fiber, vitamins, minerals and natural sweetness. 


Protein Power Smoothie Andrea's

305 cal, 31 g protein 
¾ cup milk (skim, soy or almond) 
½ banana 
½ cup frozen raspberries 
½ cup frozen blueberries 
1 tablespoon vanilla whey protein powder (can sub soy / rice / pea protein)

I am confused about how much fish oil should be in my fish oil supplement. 

Fish oil capsules contain a mixture of different fatty acids. You want to focus on the total amount of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, not the total amount of fish oil. If you do not eat fish, I recommend a daily dose of 1,000 mg of combined EPA and DHA to protect your heart and overall health. Read the label carefully and add the numbers of EPA and DHA; usually have to take more than one pill to get 1,000 mg. (Talk to your doctor before taking fish oil, as it can negatively interact with certain medications or conditions.) 

How do I choose a spread of healthy butter substitute? I am confused by all the choices         in the supermarket. 

Most important: Choose one that is free of trans fats. The nutrition facts table in total fat, make sure it says 0 g trans fats; In addition, there should be no partially hydrogenated oils ingredients list. If a product contains less than 0.5 grams of trans fat per serving, manufacturers can be rounded to 0 g, even though the product may be partially hydrogenated oils. 

Also check the calories and saturated fat. Choose gaps with no more than 2 g of saturated fat per serving. If you are watching your weight, choose a "light", which has about half the calories and fat of regular types.
