To lose weight, eat more food

We all know that certain foods make us fatter than others, but new research suggests eating more of certain foods can help maintain weight

Weight Loss
The New York Times that a study at Purdue University found that only half of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper mixed in tomato soup helped diners eat fewer calories at the next meal and also increase metabolism, burn modest 10 calories on its own. A small change in diet like this could help people who are struggling to lose weight naturally suppress your appetite, but the study showed that it can affect more people who do not regularly eat a lot of spicy foods and maybe only until they get used to eating them.

Other studies cited by the Times suggests adding pureed vegetables to dishes in bulk or eat soup or salad before a meal to reduce the amount of calories you consume at each meal. Mix the pureed vegetables in your favorite foods may be the best option, shave 200-350 calories per meal.

Nor could significantly change the flavor of the dish if it goes well (mashed cauliflower and summer squash in macaroni and cheese is an example). You can also combine this method with spicy foods for added effect. Therefore, eat, and please pass the pepper.

Hate to waste food? Instead of eating your children's leftovers, save that uneaten half-sandwich for the bird feeder
